There large pieces of potch with some signs of small amounts of colour.
Good for a beginner with not a lot of money
This piece does have deep sand marks in the middle. Some of the small ones will rub out. I think its fairer to say you probably will end up with two stones. The colour band is semi crystal on a grey backing.
The actual colour is in the centre top area. This appears as lighter colour in the top centre of the picture. You should end up with a dark green stone.
The colour bar on this pieces looks like it only goes in on the corner. (About 1 cm triangle )That is what the piece is priced on if its bigger then you have extra well.
A very bright seam of semi-crystal opal on a white base.
Seam opal from Glengarry/Grawin. There is a fine red seam on the top. This stone has been priced on the visible coloured portion which is only on approximately a quarter of the top.
