The stone /nut has been cut through roughly the center. It is approx. over 12mm thick so there is plenty of meat to support the stone if you want to cut this.
I think it is a nice specimen just as it is although it has had a rough polish on the faces which DOES need re- doing .The opal that you can see is all that is there . In the surrounding halo there is just a pretty patternThe photo is a fair representation of the piece you are buying
The stone has been sliced down through the middle. This has been rough polished on the face and it does need re-polishing.
How ever it is has been sawn off centre and in doing this has made a thick and a thin piece On the thick side you may get another small stone.
I would like to sell these three stones together. They would make three lovely pendants or brooches for three lovely sisters.
These have been roughly shaped and are of very hard stone with few pin holes which this material is prone to. They are all gem gualityThe last stone does have some only the one face which will become the back .These have been roughly polished but do need to be finished shaping and polished properly.
