Large teardrop shaped solid black crystal opal. This stone has soft blue-purple colour with a bright light green fan-shaped area. Thin smoky grey veins create a lovely soft feather-like appearance.
There are two very minor pockets near the centre which we could not polish out but they are virtually invisible.
