Design Awards Competition 2007

The Lightning Ridge International Opal Jewellery Design Awards and Exhibition is an international opal jewellery design competition held biannually in outback NSW.
   It is the largest opal-specific jewellery design competition in the world and is already gaining the attention of opal and jewellery industries around Australia and internationally.
   The competition is on from July 26–29, 2007 in Lightning Ridge NSW.
   The design competition is presented by the International Opal Jewellery Design Awards Association (IOJDAA).
   The theme of this year's competition is freeform and/or undulating surface opal as the major design element.
  The IOJDAA is delighted to unfold details of the exciting 2007 competition and feels confident that it will have the opportunity to showcase the exceptional talents of designers and jewellers nationally and internationally.
   The awards are part of the 2007 Opal Festival.
