(Well done Stephen and Mary)

Like all of these outback places the people are what make it a pleasure to come to these events. This show was no exception. The people put their hand out in traditional Aussie style to say "g'day"

On show was an above the ordinary collection of Yowah nuts from White Cliffs, Duck Creek and Lightning Ridge, were for sale. There where over a hundred stalls with other goodies as well including arts and crafts and more opal.

Helicopter rides where there for you to get a birds eye view ( Boy the place just keeps going . The best part is there are still unfound opal in those hills )

Saturday night brought the Pyro Technicians out with a fire works display ( what no gelignite ????)
After the big bang there was an auction for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
The money flew recklessly for a good cause. It was an eye opener to see just how well these folk support their life line with the out side word.
On auction where some painted doors from various machines, fridges and the like up to a side of a car.
Other donated goodies included books coins and other goods which you missed out on because you weren't there.

Amongst the books was Len Cram's special collectors edition glossy hard cover book A Journey with Colour - A History of White Cliffs Opal 1889-1999, That went for $200.
